Pararoos host Canada in Australia

Pararoos host Canada in Australia

A comprehensive performance from the Pararoos, beating Canada 5-0 at Cromer Park in front of a buzzing crowd. It was great to see the people who turned out, and the show that was rolled out for the team. If we can keep the momentum up then surely some silverware on the way for this team, especially after the inspiration they have surely given to a whole bunch of young players! #undefeated

Canberra United W-League host Perth - Round 1

Canberra United W-League host Perth - Round 1

First Westfield W-League outing of the year on Sunday - here are some pics of Canberra United Football Club taking all three points from Perth Glory Women. Matildas host Chile

Matildas host Chile

A special day at Bankwest Stadium to be part of the biggest Matildas crowd at home in Australia, over 20k. Given the opportunity fans are turning out for this team and we love it. Heaps of families, really friendly atmosphere. The Chilean team were fired up despite not getting a win in the two-match series against Westfield Matildas. I reckon they are more consistent than they were last time, clearly improving fast. They enjoy great support when they come to Australia so hopefully we continue to see them each year.

Socceroos host Nepal

Socceroos host Nepal

Great result for @socceroos last night in Canberra. Weak opposition but there's an argument that sticking to your formation instead of going for 14 goals is a better strategy, so 5-0 is solid. The Nepalese fans were top quality, just celebrating their team being here and making heaps of noise - awesome stuff. Canberra came out for it once again, they always do. Lots of starved football fans in Canberra, ready for an A-League team!
